Two Vironova patent applications have successfully passed the international phase
We’re very pleased to announce that our patent "A method for quantification of purity of sub-visible particle samples" has now passed the PCT (international patent search/control phase) and will enter national phases early next year.
And not only this, but our patent "High precision quantification of sub-visible particles" has also passed the PCT with all claims allowable and will enter the final national phases now.
The Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) is an international treaty with more than 150 contracting states that enables patent protection to be sought for an invention simultaneously in a large number of countries by filing a single “international” patent application instead of several separate national or regional patent applications. The granting of patents remains under the control of the national or regional patent offices in what is called the “national phase”.
So a major milestone has been achieved in both cases. Well done to all involved.
